After CROSS
HERE to THERE
Getting from CROSS to Your Mission Field

This interactive website is based on the small book, HERE to THERE, made available at the CROSS conferences. The website (in brief) and the book (in more detail) answers these natural, practical questions:
More than 8 out of 10 missionary candidates fail to get to the field. Many intend to go; few make it. Do you want to make it? Do you want to be part of the 15% who actually arrive on the mission field? This book is written for you!
CROSS was launched on the two essential premises:
“so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord ... Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Eph. 3:10-11, 20-21 (emphasis supplied)
The local church’s ownership and implementation of the Great Commission supplies a needed component in the process. Local churches have a role in training, sending, and shepherding qualified missionary workers for long-term ministry among those challenging UPGs. The goal is to proclaim the glory of Christ among UPGs resulting in the planting of indigenous churches THERE. Your commitment HERE to accomplish that goal goes through your local church.
The pages of this site, abbreviated somewhat from the book, seek to distill decades of service in church planting, ministry to and among unreached people groups, missions agency leadership, and missions consulting in local churches. Propempo International is committed to coming alongside churches and their missionaries to assist development of biblical, local church-centered missions ministry. We guide paths to missions effectiveness.
CROSS.Propempo.com is for you. Read it; share it; link it; like it; tweet it. Write comments on the Q&A blog posts. Try your answers to the polls. Send us questions or inquiries on the online contact form.
We pray that this website will be used by Jesus Christ, as Lord of the church, for His glory among the nations. May it be a blessing and practical reference for both the newly committed missionary candidate and his/her local church.

- “What happens after CROSS?"
- "How can we help those committed to missions move along the path from initial commitment HERE to actual arrival THERE in missionary service?”

CROSS was launched on the two essential premises:
- A world and life view grounded in a biblically reformed, theologically high view of God and the Gospel
- A strategically focused missiology aimed at reducing the number of unreached people groups (UPGs) in the world, thus fulfilling the Great Commission. The centrality of the glory of Jesus Christ and His Gospel, the sufficiency of Scripture, and sacrificial commitment to reach the unreached are core themes.
